Mark your calendars! The Brooklyn Zine Fest returns to Public Assembly in Williamsburg on Sunday, April 21st 2013 from 11am to 6pm. Showcasing more than 80 writers, artists, and publishers from Brooklyn and beyond running the gamut from self-publishing stalwarts Ayun Halliday (The East Village Inky and Bust’s “Mother Superior” column) and Alex Wrekk (Brainscan and the zine guidebook Stolen Sharpie Revolution) to fresh faced first-time zine makers.
Once again organized by the turdish-cinema celebrants behind I Love Bad Movies, BZF 2013 aims to bring the entertaining, informative, and esoteric best in self-published works to a strange & brilliant audience. In a city of a million pursuits, there’s a zine for every one.
More info and photos at www.brooklynzinefest.com. You can reach BZF organizers Matt Carman and Kseniya Yarosh at brooklynzinefest [at] gmail [dot] com.
