Ayun Halliday, creator of the long-running (i.e. fifty-issue) zine East Village Inky, has written a lovely description of the Brooklyn Zine Fest for her own site, and we couldn’t have said it any better:


Grab a fistful of dollars and hasten your heiner over to Williamsburg for the second annual Brooklyn Zine Fest, as featured in East Village Inky #50! Hot diggity dayumn!

Wait til you clap eyes on the exhibitor list! Are you excited yet? I know I am.

     Brooklyn Zine Fest

     Sunday, April 21st 2013, 11am – 6pm

     at Public Assembly in Williamsburg  70 N 6th Street (b/t Wythe & Kent Aves.)

All ages, liquid refreshments available for purchase, and FREE as a melonfarming bird, so come prepared to spend lavishly.


Ayun will also be joining us for a very exciting zine event taking place at the Brooklyn Museum two weeks before the zine fest.  Stay tuned for more details!
